Eggs, Purple, mixed media on panel, 6" x 6"I thought it would be a lot of fun to work with a still life composition where the subject was very simple in color and form, and the background was layered with information. Both of these pieces were started with road atlas pages, layered with graphite drawing, paint and drips of Gamsol (I really like that effect). I'm pleased with them, but antsy to get back to working with the figure, which will be next.
